Coming from a family of goldsmiths, Charlotte learned the trade at a young age. Following her passion, she completed the infamous goldsmith school in Schoonhoven, after which she also graduated the Royal Academy of Arts Willem de Kooning. In 2016 she founded her own brand Charlotte de Koomen Jewelry, a.k.a. CdK. Here she can do what she loves most: work together with her customers to take personal stories and transform them into beautiful and lasting jewels. 

Charlotte designs with full dedication, using inspiration she finds in her personal life. Each piece is lovingly handmade with high quality materials in the atelier at the Gerard Doustraat in Amsterdam. If people are curious about how the jewelry is made, they are always very welcome to visit the atelier and see the process of creation with their own eyes. 

At CdK the focus is on craft, timelessness and durability. Materials used are 14ct, 18ct, 22ct recycled Gold, Sterling Silver and a wide range of gemstones. CdK serves today's modern, confident woman who has established her own unique sense of style.
